01 / Welcome
MaGaia is a growing home for botanical education, traditional plant knowledge, mindful ritual, and holistic services. We honor the past without abandoning discernment, and use technology to make meaningful knowledge easier to learn and practice.
Founded by Andrés Arango, MaGaia began with real plants grown and cared for in his home nursery. That hands-on connection to the earth still shapes everything we create.

Our botanical stories are grounded in plants we have actually grown, tended, and photographed. Each portrait begins with an original MaGaia nursery image, then receives a careful editorial crop for clarity.

04 / The first guide
MaGaia Field Guide · No. 01
A grounded guide to growing, tending, harvesting, and understanding one of the most enduring plants in traditional spiritual practice.
One plant. Three intentions.
Explore rue as a traditional symbol of protection at the entrance of the home.
Create an intentional growing space connected with prosperity, clarity, and focus.
Learn to grow, harvest, and propagate rue with respect for the living plant.
05 / Our approach
Spiritual and ancestral uses are presented as traditions, with cultural context and respect.
Botanical facts and scientific evidence are distinguished from symbolism, belief, and personal practice.
Clear safety guidance comes first, especially when plants, animals, medications, or health conditions are involved.
The garden is just beginning
Botanical knowledge, spiritual practice, and new field guides are taking root.
